A NEW, UNIQUE AND INSIGHTFUL

SPORTS LAW BLOG

Our Motto

SPORTS

We pledge to cover major sporting events, giving a unique and insightful opinion on matters.

As three young students with years of sporting experience, including playing, officiating and coaching, we believe we have the knowledge to cover a myriad of sporting issues.

We aim to discuss sports ranging from football, to karate, to golf, providing a personal touch to our articles.

LAW

Our articles will mainly be based around the legal aspect of the sporting story we choose to cover; whether that be a contractual or tortious dispute or a conflict involving litigation, we'll cover it.

These pieces will also offer our thoughts into how the law may affect other scenarios, and what impact this may have.

EXPERTS

We understand that three Law students will not cover everything, which is why all of our articles will be supported by an 'expert opinion'.

This section will be made up of professionals, lecturers, trainee lawyers and students studying non-Law degrees to provide a new outlook into our article.

THE LEGAL PITCH: A MIDDLE GROUND

This blog has been designed to provide articles orientated around legal developments in the sporting sector.

What is 'the middle ground'?

1) The Legal Pitch will provide academic insight into all legal issues for Law students and those interested in the subject.

2) A blog that will also be targeted at the sporting community, providing a 'good-read' for those purely interested in sport.

3) Academic writing for legal professionals who are seeking further information from our targeted 'expert opinion' area.

CONTACT US

We will be accepting article contributions to our blog in the near future, however, please email before you attempt to write a piece for us in order to discuss its sporting and legal contents. The article must cover an up-to-date sporting and legal event (the coverage of the legal sector can vary). We will not be accepting all submissions.

We are also looking for 'experts' to write short pieces alongside our blog posts to enhance their credibility and to provide a more insightful approach into The Legal Pitch.

Please send us an email if you wish to contribute in either of the ways suggested.
